Assistant Design Manager Construction£50,000 £60,000 + Travel Expenses, Healthcare, Pension and BonusHybrid Working Moorgate, London and Projects Across the South East The Opportunity Are you a Design Coordinator or Assistant Design Manager looking for more responsibility, career progression and flexible working? Join a well-established, privately owned contractor delivering industrial construction projects across the South East. You will help coordinate design from pre-construction through to completion, gaining broader project experience and developing towards a Design Manager role. The working arrangement combines remote working, site visits and one day per week in the Moorgate office. Projects span Hertfordshire to Hampshire, with business travel expenses covered. The Role What You ll Be Doing Working closely with project teams and external consultants, you will help ensure design information is coordinated, compliant and issued in line with procurement and construction programmes. Coordinate architects, structural engineers and other design consultants. Review drawings and specifications, identifying clashes, gaps and buildability issues. Track design information, outstanding queries and approvals to keep projects moving. Support design meetings and follow up actions with consultants and project teams.
