Assistant Design Manager – Industrial & Commercial Projects
M4 Corridor (Reading, Wokingham, Slough)
£40,000 – £60,000 + Travel Allowance, Private Healthcare, Pension & Bonus

What You’ll Be Doing As Assistant Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing design outputs and technical coordination across multiple projects. Expect to:

• Support in managing consultant teams and design deliverables.
• Review drawings and documentation to spot risks and opportunities.
• Attend design and progress meetings.
• Drive technical queries through to resolution.

What You’ll Bring

• 1–3 years’ experience in design coordination or technical support within construction.
• Exposure to industrial, logistics, or commercial builds (preferred but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and confidence to take initiative.
