Assistant Conveyancing Solicitor

Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a prestigious law firm looking for a Trainee Assistant Solicitor to join their residential conveyancing department. This role is designed for a motivated and ambitious candidate who is serious about building a career in residential conveyancing. You will receive direct support from a solicitor, ongoing training and professional development and a clear progression pathway to qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion Supporting on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Drafting contracts, transfers, and supporting documentation Reviewing title, searches, and raising enquiries Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors Using case management systems and digital onboarding tools Ensuring compliance with lender requirements, regulatory obligations, and firm procedures Skills and Experience: A qualifying law degree (LLB/GDL) and progress toward SQE or LPC A genuine interest in property law and conveyancing Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and client care skills A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment Commercial awareness and interest in how a modern conveyancing practice operates Prior experience in a conveyancing or legal environment is advantageous but not essential. ..... full job details .....
