Assistant Commercial Manager

Assistant Commercial Manager £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits Permanent London For the largest and most exciting transport projects in Europe, we are recruiting several Assistant Commercial Managers to support the delivery of commercial activities within several delivery teams, working along-side the supply chain, contractors, and consultancies. Reporting to a Commercial Manager, this role will suit someone with 2-3 years'' experience within QS, Cost or Commercial, with excellent working knowledge of Civils, NEC contracts, and compensation events. Main Duties:Pre-contract - support commercial works information, and drafting contract documentsProcurement - support the development of a contract management planPost Contract - support the delivery of contract management, and the administration of the obligations of the Project Managers under the NEC3 ContractSupport the validations and compensation eventsSupport contract payments assessment, analysis of supply chain monthly reporting, and contract-level performance informationSupport the settlement of supply chain disputes and estimate reviews at all stagesPerson Specification:Experience as a Junior QS, Assistant QS or Assistant Cost ConsultantExperience within construction, Civils, Major Works, MEPHExperience with NEC3 Contracts (Option F and Option C)Experience using CEMAR would be desirableExperience administering contracts delivering large-scale infrastructure projectsExperience with resolution processes and proceduresKnowledge ..... full job details .....
