Assistant Civil Engineer - CambridgeLocation: CambridgeType: Full-Time PermanentThe OpportunityAn established, award-winning civil engineering and transport planning consultancy is looking to appoint an Assistant Civil Engineer to join its growing Cambridge team.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with at least 2 years'' consultancy experience to develop their technical skills across a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, covering highways, drainage and wider infrastructure design.You''ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to projects from initial design through to delivery, with opportunities to take on responsibility, develop client relationships and progress towards ICE professional accreditation.The RoleSupporting the design of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemesWorking on S278/S38 highways designs and drainage strategiesProducing high-quality technical drawings and design packagesApplying relevant design standards, including Manual for Streets, DMRB and SuDS guidanceUsing AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other engineering software to develop design solutionsLiaising with clients, developers, architects and local authoritiesSupporting project coordination and ensuring designs meet technical requirementsContributing to client relationships, networking and business development activitiesWhat We''re Looking ForHND, BEng, MEng, MSc or equivalent qualification in Civil EngineeringAt least 2 years'' experience within a ..... full job details .....
