Assistant Caretaker - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker / Site Supervisor / Maintenance Operative to join our client's busy estates team.. The role involves providing a secure and welcoming environment by conducting regular patrols, monitoring access control points, CCTV systems, and ensuring the safety of staff & visitors. You will support the maintenance team with repairs, DIY tasks, and general building repairs, as well as assist with logistical duties such as setting up rooms for events, receiving deliveries, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the premises. 

• Experience in security.
• Basic DIY, maintenance, and repair skills, with a flexible can-do approach
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems, and fire safety procedures
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people and staff
• Physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks and basic maintenance work
• A valid driving licence (desirable) and relevant security qualifications (preferable)
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
