This is an excellent opportunity to build your career with a respected construction company delivering high-profile residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the UK.Working alongside experienced Buyers and the wider Commercial team, you''ll play a key role in ensuring materials, plant, and subcontract services are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Support Buyers with the procurement of construction materials, plant, and subcontract packages.Obtain and compare supplier quotations to achieve the best value.Raise purchase orders and ensure they are processed accurately and on time.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any supply issues proactively.Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information.Assist with supplier performance reviews and cost analysis.Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.Support sustainability and value engineering initiatives where appropriate.About You:You''ll be an organised individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
