Assistant Buyer

My Client, a well established civil engineering contractor ia actively recruiting for an accomplished Assistant Buyer-to augment it''s cost management team in the West midlands.

As the Assistant Buyer your key responsibilities will include ;-

Dealing with booking of material requirements for programmed works with relevant supplier and all associated administrative work.

Assisting our Senior Materials Planner & Buyer to ensure that rates match orders and all administration is of the highest standard.

Handling the ordering of asphalt orders to site works, ensuring that materials arrive when expected.

You-will have gained some experience in a busy-purchasing or materials planning environment and will be looking to continue your career within the procurement sector.

A knowledge of construction and related materials would be advantageous.
