Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Buyer to join their Procurement team based in Oldham.The RoleAs Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for:Supporting the procurement team with the sourcing of construction materials, plant, and subcontract servicesObtaining and evaluating supplier quotations to achieve best valueAssisting with supplier negotiations and procurement activitiesRaising, processing, and tracking purchase ordersCoordinating material deliveries to ensure project programmes are maintainedBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturersMonitoring supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedulesSupporting cost control and procurement budget managementReviewing drawings and specifications to ..... full job details .....
