A medium-sized consultancy based in the City of London is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing team. APC support is provided, offering a clear path to MRICS Building Surveyor.Responsibilities

Work on building surveys, condition assessments, and inspections across a range of property types.Prepare reports on building defects, repairs, and maintenance.Support senior surveyors in managing refurbishment and construction projects.Advise clients on building regulations and compliance.Involvement in dilapidations surveys, party wall matters, and general property-related issues.Contribute to the preparation and review of project specifications and tender documents.What the Assistant Building Surveyor needs

A relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field.Approximately 12 months of consultancy experience as an Assistant Building Surveyor.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Salary and Benefits
