Assistant Bodyshop Manager

Overview

Assistant Bodyshop Manager role at Arnold Clark, based in Edinburgh Ratho. You will help ensure the smooth and effective running of our accident repair centre alongside the Bodyshop Manager, dealing with customers and working as part of a team to restore cars to their former glory.Responsibilities

Liaise with customers to understand requirements and deliver excellent customer service.Assist the Bodyshop Manager to lead and manage a team of staff.Carry out bodyshop quality control checks.Update internal systems as required.Estimate and invoice using Audatex.Motivate staff to achieve targets and maximise productivity.Ensure compliance with company policy and health and safety best practices, including housekeeping.Essential Skills

Proven experience in a similar management role in the automotive sector.Good computer literacy.Strong communication and influencing skills.Positive and proactive attitude; high levels of organisation and attention to detail.Ability to motivate staff to reach targets.Previous Audatex estimating experience.Full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year.Nice To Have

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Hours

Full-time: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 8:00am – 12:00pm.Benefits
