As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will be the aiding the Bar Manager as a driving force behind the bar''s daily operations, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service, quality drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. You will lead and inspire your team, maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency, and play a key role in menu development, stock management and staff training.Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:Ongoing training and motivation for the bar team, creating a positive and collaborative work environment.

Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to maintain high standards.

Lead by example, providing hands-on support during operational hours.

Take the lead on improving and developing the bar team

Bar Operations and Efficiency:Hold the team to account on daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the bar is always clean, well-stocked and organised.

Monitor and maintain quality control over drink preparation and presentation.

Implement effective bar maintenance routines, including line cleaning and cellar management.

Cocktail Menu Development:Collaborate with the team to create innovative cocktails and seasonal drink menus, which are unique, niche, seasonal and on brand with Crowded House.

Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Plan and execute specials and bespoke cocktails when necessary.

Customer Experience and Sales:Ensure every guest receives exceptional service, from the first welcome to the final goodbye.

Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Promote a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and guest loyalty.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or similar role in a high-volume site.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Creative flair for cocktail creation and menu design.
