They are looking for an assistant arboriculture surveyor to assist and support the technical director with a review of TPOs on behalf of two local authorities in east London and in Kent. The work is on-site in the two boroughs, and would suit someone who is looking to come off the tools and gain tree officer/inspector/surveyor experience. As an assistant tree surveyor, the main tasks will involve reviewing and re-surveying TPOs, supporting the Technical Director with on-site inspections including BS5837, and compiling briefing notes with regard to tree works applications in line with BS3998. This is not an exhaustive list of the tasks involved, but aims to give an indication of the range of the work, and training will be provided for all activities.
