Assistant AccountantLocation: Outskirts of WarwickSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Assistant Accountant to join a successful multi-company organisation based on the outskirts of Warwick. Operating across a diverse range of business sectors, this is a varied and hands-on role offering significant responsibility and exposure to multiple business operations.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function across the group.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accountsCompletion and submission of VAT returnsSupporting the CFO with financial reporting and analysisProcessing and maintaining accurate financial recordsManaging file uploads and data importsProducing mail merges and business correspondenceAssisting with finance administration across multiple companiesLiaising with internal stakeholders and external advisors as requiredEnsuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and proceduresSkills and Experience RequiredMinimum AAT Level 4 qualification (preferred)At least 5 years'' experience preparing management accounts (preferred)Strong understanding of VAT processes and returnsExcellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience with file uploads, data management and mail mergesAbility to work independently and manage ..... full job details .....
