We are pleased to be partnering with a growing SME, based in Whiteley, in their search for an Assistant Accountant to support the wider finance team. This role is initially for a 3-month temporary assignment but has the possibility to extend.The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong transactional finance background, and be able to work across a range of teams. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all AR Invoices and Credits are raised by transaction team and reconciledPreparing and providing accurate management information around cash collectionResolve any Customer Queries on InvoicesEnsure that all AP invoices are processed and any queries are dealt with in a timely mannerReconciliation of the AP LedgerEnsure Ledgers are closed on a timely basis and reconcile to the Balance Sheet About you: Experience / understanding of Credit Control and Sales LedgerIdeally have experience of working in Purchase LedgerHave working knowing of Excel, Word and PowerPointGood working knowledge of ERP systemsProactive approach All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.We will consider all qualified applications for this position.
