Salary: £30-35KOffice BasedRole:Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a fast-paced, privately-backed SME, based in Bournemouth, with their recruitment for a newly-created Assistant Accountant position. You''ll help maintain accurate financial records, support month-end processes, and ensure the smooth running of accounting and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and completing regular bank, client, and control account reconciliations Investigating and resolving reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses, and paymentsManaging debtor and creditor ledgers and ensuring balances are up to date Recording and maintaining prepayments and accruals in line with month-end procedures Reviewing employee expense claims and reconciling corporate card transactions Assisting with month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reporting Experience / Qualifications: 1 3 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within financial services, lending or property financeExperience using Xero or Sage and strong Excel or skills Highly ..... full job details .....
