Assistant Accountant

We''re working with a growing business in Deeside looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team and work closely with the directors. This is an excellent opportunity to have real input and exposure in a growing company, a chance to get involved beyond the day-to-day numbers and genuinely shape how the finance function develops. What you''ll be doing Supporting the day-to-day accounting function, from purchase and sales ledgers, credit control to bank reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end processes Preparing management accounts and supporting reports for the directors Helping with VAT returns, payroll, and other compliance work Working closely with the directors on forecasting, budgeting, and business decisions Building relationships with customers and suppliers Getting involved in process improvements as the business grows A genuinely hands-on role with direct exposure to senior leadership Benefits Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 Working hours - 8:30 - 4:30 25 days holiday plus bank Free parking with free electric charging point Reward schemes Career progression ..... full job details .....
