Assistant Accountant Liverpool £32,000 plus study supportA global PLC in Liverpool is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. Reporting into a Divisional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:Assisting in the production of management accounts and reporting, putting together the PandL, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flowMonthly forecastingVAT returnsSupporting with monthly payroll and posting journalAccruals and prepaymentsSupport wider finance teams with reports and analysis on an ad hoc basisFor this Assistant Accountant role, you must have:Experience working in a fast paced business in a similar role with month end exposure (accruals and prepayments)Ideally be AAT qualified (late AAT studier/early stages CIMA/ACCA studier will also be considered)Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environmentExcellent communication skillsStrong Excel and analytical skillsA good team player, who can also work well individuallyStrong attention to detailWell organised and good prioritisation skillsFor this role, the successful applicant will get:£32,000 salaryFull study support Pension schemeGenuine flexible working hoursHybrid working25 days holiday plus bank holidaysGreat environment for learning and ..... full job details .....
