Assistant Accountant/ Payroll- Belfast City Centre- £35kReed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-known Belfast City Centre based company. Due to company growth, our client is keen to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Payroller to join their team of a full-time, permanent basis.Offering a full-time, permanent role, and a salary of up to £35k per annum dependent on experience, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:Process UK and ROI monthly payroll using Sage for circa 90 employeesEnd-to-end payroll processingPost payroll journals, reconcile accounts, and advise employees on pension contributionsSales ledger invoice processingCredit Control dutiesPurchase Ledger invoice processingBank reconciliationsSupport audits and reportingGeneral accounts and administrative dutiesEssential Criteria:A minimum of 2-3 years within an Accounts/ Finance Related rolePayroll experience is essentialIT Proficient to include accountancy software packagesDesirable:Accounting Technician/ Part Qualified and/or Payroll CIPP qualifications.Credit control knowledge and experience in administrative support in GDPR and health and safety.Company Benefits:32 days holiday (including statutory days).Company pension contributions (increasing with service).Death in Service cover of six times your salary when you join our pension scheme.Cycle to Work scheme and comprehensive training and development.Free tea, coffee, and fruit on all sites.Cash ..... full job details .....
