Assistant AccountantLocation: North BelfastJob Type: Full-time Permanent Hourly rate: £dependent on experienceReed Accountancy and Finance are working closely with an innovative organisation based in North Belfast who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.The successful Assistant Accountant will produce accurate financial reports and driving continuous improvement within the finance team. Day-to-day of the role:Prepare and review period-end accounting adjustments, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.Maintain accurate balance sheet records, including asset registers and intercompany transactions, while resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.Support the production of monthly financial information, including reconciliations, performance analysis and management reporting.Assist with indirect tax compliance, statutory reporting requirements and year-end financial processes.Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and audit activities by providing accurate financial data and supporting documentation.Coordinate payroll-related information and ensure timely submission of data to relevant stakeholders.Support the ongoing development of financial processes, controls and systems to improve efficiency and data integrity.Produce, maintain and enhance financial reports to support ..... full job details .....
