Assistant Accountant- Lisburn- Charitable Sector- Part TimeReed Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local Charity based in Lisburn. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Accounts Professional to work within a supportive and busy finance function. This role is offering 24 hours per week, and our client can be flexible regarding hours worked, as well as a competitive hourly rate of circa £18+ per hour.The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the following duties:Month end closureBudgeting and forecastingBank reconciliationsVAT returnsMonthly payroll processing for 60 employeesCredit Card analysisUnderstand of double entry bookkeeping and journal entriesBalancing debtor and credit accountsGeneral transactional accounts to include purchase and sales ledger inputEssential Criteria:Accounting Technician Level candidate OR a minimum of 3 years'' experience in the above job dutiesIT Proficient to include Sage Line 50 or equivalentAbility to work alongside other departments, and good understanding of HR Processes (in relation to payroll related issues)The ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a teamIf you would like to be considered for this position then please apply via the link provided.
