Our client has an immediate requirement for a full-time Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounting Technician to join their team on a full-time basis, for an initial 12-month fixed term contract with possible extension.The successful applicant will be offered a full-time 37-hour contract, working within a fast paced and busy Finance team, that offers flexible working, and hybrid working ( 2 days in office, 3 days at home.The successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following daily duties;Day-to-day of the role:Support Finance Business Partners in delivering a proactive and value-adding finance serviceAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentarySupport the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working with service managers to ensure assumptions are robust and aligned to operational plansAssist with in-year reforecastingAnalyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesAssist in preparing financial information for funding applications, tenders, and grant reporting, ensuring full cost recovery principles are appliedRequired Skills and Qualifications:Strong administrative ..... full job details .....
