We''re partnering with a growing international business that is investing heavily in its finance function and looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join its collaborative Manchester-based finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2-5 years of accounting experience who is actively studying ACCA or CIMA and wants to gain broader experience, take on more responsibility, and progress towards qualification. You''ll work closely with experienced finance professionals, gain exposure to international entities, and play a key role in month-end, statutory reporting, and financial control activities. What You''ll Be Involved In Financial Reporting and Month-End Support the month-end close process, including preparing and posting journals. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Assist with intercompany reconciliations and transactions across multiple entities. Contribute to accurate and timely management reporting. Statutory Accounts, VAT and Compliance Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts information.
