Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper- Saintfield Reed Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a successful company based in Saintfield. Due to another member of staff retiring, there is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join the team. This role is offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and busy team, and the successful candidate will be offered an extensive handover period with the current Bookkeeper. Daily duties: Assisting with month end duties Match credit notes to invoices Reconcile supplier statements Prepare documents for payment processing Set up new Supplier accounts Bank reconciliations Weekly payroll for 40 employees Pension processing Assisting with sales ledger General administrative duties related to the finance desk Essential Criteria: A minimum of 2 years'' experience within a similar role IT Proficient to including accounting software Additional Details: Excellent salary dependent on experience Monday- Friday 9am-5pm Onsite parking Full-time permanent position If you would like to be considered for this role, please submit your CV via the link provided.
