Assistant Accountant (Temporary, Part-Time)Salary: £35,000 FTE (£17.95 per hour equivalent)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm (25 hours per week)Contract: Ongoing Temporary AssignmentThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a busy finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and capable finance professional who can quickly integrate into the business and provide immediate support across a variety of accounting duties.This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar position who is confident working independently and able to hit the ground running from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the preparation of monthly management accountsSupporting month-end and year-end processesCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining accurate financial recordsProcessing journals, accruals and prepaymentsAssisting with cash flow reporting and forecastingSupporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions when requiredBank reconciliations and cashbook managementInvestigating and resolving financial discrepanciesProviding ad hoc finance and administrative support to the wider teamRequirementsPrevious experience working as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar finance roleProven experience assisting with the production of management accountsStrong reconciliation and month-end accounting experienceAbility to work autonomously with minimal ..... full job details .....
