The role of an Assistant Accountant will include the following duties: Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental Income Statements and departmental Forecasts and BudgetsAssist with the preparation of monthly management accountSupport in bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsProcess accruals, prepayments, and journalsAssist in VAT returns and compliancePurchase ledger and sales ledger accountingPlus, transactional accounting duties, supporting the wider team.
