We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a busy finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reporting, and supporting the wider team in ensuring smooth financial management across the business. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all systems Record and reconcile labour, project, and operational costs Allocate and track unassigned costs to the correct departments or projects Prepare payment forecasts, including foreign currency transactions where needed Review account balances and prepare monthly summaries and statements Monitor invoices and payments, following up on overdue items and updating expected dates Assist with budget monitoring and cost tracking throughout projects Support internal controls and assist with routine financial reporting Collaborate with external accountants on day-to-day queries Support month-end and year-end procedures, including account reconciliations and stock/asset tracking Assist with project financial close-outs...
