Assistant Accountant

The job: The purpose of the role is to provide support to the finance department across the group and assist with month-end reporting. Reporting to the Finance Director, duties will include, but not limited to: Accruals and prepayments. Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations. Bank reconciliations. Updating and maintaining the fixed asset register. Monthly and quarterly VAT returns. Other ad hoc duties as required. The person: Previous experience with month-end processes is required.Good IT skills are essential, including advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables and Lookups etc).
