Assistant Accountant

As an Assistant Accountant in the Not For Profit sector, based in Lincoln, you''ll play a key role in overseeing financial processes, helping the organisation make sound financial decisions. This is a hands-on role where you''ll support the day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the smooth running of the finance department. Client Details This is a permanent opportunity in Lincoln to join a well established business as an Assistant Accountant. Our client offers a hybrid model and the opportunity for study support within a varied role. Description Prepare management accounts and financial reports for review. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audits. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Profile A successful Assistant Accountant should have: Studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA. Candidates who have worked in similar positions but have not studied are advised to apply!
