Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. As a medium-sized organisation, they offer a professional environment with a focus on delivering high-quality services.DescriptionAssist with the preparation of monthly management accountsProcess invoices, payments, and bank reconciliationsSupport with VAT returns and other statutory reportingMaintain accurate financial records and ledgersLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholdersProvide ad hoc support to the finance team as requiredProfileAAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting roleStrong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAvailable to start at short noticeJob OfferCompetitive hourly rate of 18 to 21.Temporary role with potential for future opportunities.Supportive and professional working environment.Opportunities to develop financial expertise.2 days a week WFHFlexible hoursOn site free ..... full job details .....
