This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has developed beyond purely transactional accounting and is looking for a varied, hands-on role with greater exposure to management accounts, reporting and financial analysis.Working closely with the senior finance team, you will support the production of accurate and timely financial information while taking responsibility for a range of month-end and financial control activities.The RoleAs Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accountsPreparing and posting month-end journals, accruals and prepaymentsCompleting balance sheet and control account reconciliationsSupporting monthly PandL review and variance analysisInvestigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial reportingSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reportingMaintaining and reconciling the fixed asset registerAssisting with VAT returns and associated reconciliationsSupporting bank and intercompany reconciliationsProducing financial analysis and reports to support business ..... full job details .....
