The organisation operates across multiple markets, providing exposure to cross-border finance and a collaborative, high-performing environment.Recognised as an Investors in People Platinum-accredited employer, the organisation places strong emphasis on employee development, performance, and a positive workplace culture.The RoleThe Assistant Accountant will work closely with Financial Accountants and the Financial Reporting Manager, supporting management reporting, month-end processes, and expense management.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management reporting, including reconciliations, performance metrics, and intercompany balancesProduction of daily financial reports covering trade loans, off-balance sheet commitments, FX positions, and counterparty exposuresManagement of accruals and prepayments with clear supporting rationaleMaintenance and improvement of balance sheet reconciliationsSupport in the valuation of investment securitiesMaintenance of fixed asset and intangible registersOversight of expense processes across international operationsSupport with consolidation of international entitiesAssistance with tax processes, including VAT returnsSupport for finance systems and ad hoc financial analysisCandidate ProfilePart-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ..... full job details .....
