Assistant Accountant

We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join a well-established and growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in finance within a dynamic and supportive environment.Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, you will support a range of day-to-day accounting and administrative functions, gaining valuable hands-on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general finance administration, including filing and record keepingSupport reconciliations and financial reporting processesAccurately record financial transactions using internal systems and SageProvide support across both sales ledger and purchase ledger activitiesCommunicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholdersHandle incoming calls and respond to queries professionallyCarry out ad hoc administrative duties as requiredRequirements:Strong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesGood communication skills, both written and verbalProactive and willing to learn new systems quicklyCompetent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookPrevious experience using Sage is advantageous but not ..... full job details .....
