Assistant Accountant Office based role Caerphilly Area Part Time 16-20 hours per week flexible Salary circa £33-35,000 pro rata This hands on role will be a circa 6-month contract to start but will likely lead to a permanent role. An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join an International Engineering organisation in this newly created office-based role. You must have 3 years + UK accounting experience.This is an office based role in South Wales Main responsibilities You will be required to Assist the Company accountant in all aspects of the day-to-day accounts and support the sales and purchase ledger functions Assist with any accounting entries up to trial balance stage Financial statements including PandL, Balance Sheet and Cash flow forecasting as required Setting up reporting and schedules in Sage 200 Provide cover for both the accountant and sales and purchase ledger clerks The Assistant Accountant Finance Assistant is likely to be AAT or ACCA part Qualified This is a Part time role and you must live in or near South Wales You must also have; The permanent right to work in the UK A minimum of 3 years + experience in a UK Accounting role Travel to work from; Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Newbridge, Ystrad Mynach, Treforest, Cwmbran, Aberdare, Cardiff.
