Your new companyHays Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a global and successful Manufacturing Group to recruit a dynamic and driven Assistant Accountant based in their office in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. A varied and exciting permanent accounting role reporting directly into the Management Accountant, offering future career development and progression. The role will involve a range of finance tasks, from subsidiary accounting, supporting budgeting, financial accounts reconciliations through to stock processes, finance projects and year-end support. The position offers 50/50 remote/office hybrid working once settled in, with a study package for financial qualifications. Open to both active AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA studiers, or candidates qualified by experience. Training and development provided, but a clear understanding and experience of trial balance will be essential. Your new roleYour key duties will involve subsidiary accounting, from salaries, jour nals, accruals and prepayments, pension, reconciliations, trial balance, fixed assets and preparing monthly accounts. You will support budgeting processes, financial accounts reconciliations, stock reconciliations, query resolution for general accounting enquiries, and be involved in annual stock check processes. You will support financial projects, assist with year-end audit and reporting processes.
