Your new role As an Assistant Accountant, you''ll be a key member of a small but efficient finance team, reporting directly to the Management Accountants. Your role will span both transactional and reporting duties, contributing to accurate management accounts and audit success. You''ll also mentor junior team members and collaborate across departments - from operations and sales to senior leadership. Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliationsProducing daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reportsManaging accounts receivable and payableHandling bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and audit preparationWorking with nominal journals, accruals, and prepaymentsSupporting ad hoc finance tasks and month-end processesBusiness partnering with non-finance colleagues across the organisationWhat you''ll need to succeed We''re looking for someone who''s confident, articulate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
