Working closely with the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Assistant Accountant with a strong background in both Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) and Accounts Receivable (Sales Ledger) activities. The Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant Role:Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of transactional finance processes and support the efficient running of the finance function.Processing, posting, and reconciling purchase invoices, supplier payments, and employee expensesManaging Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger activities and maintaining supplier accountsSupporting Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger functions, including invoice distribution, allocation of receipts, and credit controlPerforming bank reconciliations and ensuring balances accurately match financial recordsPreparing payment runs and processing electronic paymentsMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are recorded correctlyAssisting with Month-End and Year-End accounting processesSupporting the preparation of quarterly VAT ReturnsProducing reports and assisting with finance administration as ..... full job details .....
