      <description>Location: Sunderland | Salary: 35000.00-35000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Reed Finance are recruiting on behalf of a well established manufacturing business seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant / Junior Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career looking to gain broad exposure in a fast paced, commercially focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepaymentsSupport production of management accounts and variance analysisAnalyse costs, margins and manufacturing performance metricsMaintain and reconcile balance sheet accountsWork closely with operations to support cost control and budgetingAssist with stock accounting and inventory reportingSupport audits and continuous improvement of financial processesAbout You:Part-qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) / actively studying or QBEPrevious experience in a finance or accounts role (ideally within manufacturing or production)Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindsetHighly organised with strong attention to detailEager to learn and develop within a supportive finance team</description>
