This is a varied opportunity for an accounting professional looking to get involved across day-to-day finance, financial administration, reconciliations, and management accounts prep. Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, you will help maintain accurate financial records and support the preparation of financial information. Key Responsibilities: Process and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records. Complete day-to-day finance and accounting activities across the organisation. Maintain and update financial information using the organisation''s accounting systems. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Support the Finance Manager with month-end processes and reporting. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and process journals and other month-end adjustments where required. Support with VAT and HMRC-related accounting requirements. Carry out regular checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Assist with the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and supporting information. Ensure financial processes are completed in line with relevant policies and procedures. Assist with resolving finance queries across the wider organisation.
