Assistant Accountant High-Growth Manufacturing Business Derbyshire (one day work from home after 3 month probation) £30k - £32k + Full Study Support 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 12pm finish on Fridays Eaton Syalon is partnering with an investor-backed manufacturing organisation in Derbyshire that has achieved exceptional triple-digit growth over the past 36 months. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, accounts receivable, operational finance, and month-end processes - all while receiving full study support and a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified Accountant. The Role The successful candidate will support the finance function across a wide range of accounting and reporting activities, including: Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash book postings Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and national statistics reporting Assisting with maintaining the trial balance and updating supporting schedules Preparing and posting journals including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset depreciation Producing and issuing sales invoices and credit notes Maintaining the sales ledger and ensuring customer account accuracy Providing weekly debtor cash updates and monitoring customer advances Supporting month-end close processes including reconciliations and ..... full job details .....
