As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team.This is an outstanding opportunity to gain broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, accounts receivable, operational finance, and month-end processes - all while receiving full study support and a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified Accountant.The RoleThe successful candidate will support the finance function across a wide range of accounting and reporting activities, including: Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash book postings within D365 Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and national statistics reporting Assisting with maintaining the trial balance and updating supporting schedules Preparing and posting journals including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset depreciation Producing and issuing sales invoices and credit notes Maintaining the sales ledger and ensuring customer account accuracy Sending customer statements and actively chasing overdue debt Providing weekly debtor cash updates and monitoring customer advances Supporting month-end close processes including reconciliations and reporting Preparing monthly reports including Other Debtors, GRNI, and cost centre ..... full job details .....
