I am working with a thriving and ambitious manufacturing business based in Lancaster, and we''re looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team during an exciting period of growth.

What You''ll Be Doing:

In this hands-on and varied role, you''ll be responsible for a range of transactional finance tasks, including

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations and cash allocations
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Supporting the Management Accountant with reports and analysis

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to both day-to-day accounting and wider finance operations.

Who We''re Looking For:

You''ll thrive in this role if you are

• Studying towards your AAT qualification and keen to progress to a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA)
• Organised, detail-oriented and proactive
• A confident communicator with a team-focused mindset
• Experienced (or eager to learn!) in using accounting systems and Excel
