Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a dynamic, fast-moving service provider located near Waterlooville.
To support the finance team during a particularly busy period, the business is seeking a Temporary Assistant Accountant. This assignment is expected to last for approximately six months.
What will the temporary Assistant Accountant role involve? 

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Transactional finance; purchase and sales ledger, making and allocating payments.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Payroll support.

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Assistant Accountant vacancy: 

• Strong organisational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Sage 50.
• A focused approach and a drive to support where necessary.
