Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

The Role:

As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll play a key part in supporting the finance team across a broad range of accounting tasks. This is a varied and rewarding position, perfect for someone looking to grow their career within a stable and progressive organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with preparation of management accounts

• Reconciling accounts and maintaining ledgers

• Processing invoices, expenses and payments

• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes

• Preparing financial reports and documentation

• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role

• Confident user of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organisational and communication skills

• A proactive and organised approach to work

• CIMA/ACCA qualification (or working towards) is advantageous

• Competitive salary between £32,000 and £40,000, depending on experience
