As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their centralised finance hub in Elstree.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step up within a dynamic, multi-site business, gaining exposure to management accounts and working closely with senior finance stakeholders.The RoleReporting to the Regional Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the production of accurate financial information and maintaining strong financial controls.Core ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the preparation of monthly management accountsAccruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting month-end and year-end processesReviewing and overseeing purchase ledger activitiesMonitoring and improving financial controls and processesBanking and CashflowOverseeing bank reconciliationsSupporting cashflow management and reportingReviewing payment runs and approvalsOperational SupportPartnering with site teams to resolve financial queriesProviding insight and support to non-finance stakeholdersAssisting with audits and compliance requirementsSystems and ProcessWorking with internal DMS and finance systems to ensure data accuracySupporting process improvements and system ..... full job details .....
