Assistant Accountant

This interim Assistant Accountant role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to busy finance functions and contribute to critical reconciliation and data analysis tasks during a period of change. What will the Assistant Accountant role involve? Supporting the finance team in assessing and reconciling historical transactional data within Sage, ensuring accuracy and completeness for upcoming business sales Analysing customer and supplier invoice data from the past two to three years to identify discrepancies and validate data integrity Assisting in reconciling monthly and yearly closing processes, providing insights to ensure data readiness for potential sale transactions Collaborating closely with various finance team members and broader business functions to gather relevant information and ensure consistency Contributing to the overall data validation process during a period of business transition, helping facilitate a smooth sale processSuitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy: Experience operating within an accountant or finance assistant capacity, preferably with exposure to transactional data reconciliation Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy Proficiency in Sage or similar financial systems, ..... full job details .....
