Assistant Accountant

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing and coding checks
• Supporting month-end tasks, including accruals, journals, prepayments, and fixed assets
• Conducting reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts
• Helping prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties and contributing to the smooth running of the finance department

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Proficient in Excel
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
