Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Fareham, Hampshire, on a temporary basis. This assignment will last c6-9 weeks while they recruit on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual that will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving commercial environment.What will the Assistant Accountant role involve? Undertaking the accounts payable function i.e. paying supplier invoicesIssuing monthly and ad-hoc recharge invoices to the businessBookkeeping and reconciliation of all bank accountsAssistance with monthly intercompany confirmations and loan revaluationsAssistance with the month end reporting processAssistance with balance sheet reconciliationsAssistance with preparation of the annual financial statements Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy: Part qualified or qualified is preferred but not essential (i.e. AAT)A solid background in finance with experience of running the accounts to trial balance stageWorking knowledge of debits and creditsAvailable to work in a small finance team and occasionally in a stand alone capacityAttention to detail and high level of accuracy Additional benefits and information for the role of Assistant Accountant: Free parkingFlexible working hours CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
