Reporting directly to the Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations.This position would suit an ambitious finance professional looking to further develop their accounting career within a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of monthly management accountsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesMaintain and reconcile the general ledgerPrepare and post journals, including accruals and prepaymentsPerform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesManage accounts receivable, including invoice posting and credit control activitiesProvide accounts payable support during holiday cover periodsProcess supplier invoices and ensure timely payment of suppliersMonitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balancesSupport payroll processing and related reconciliationsAssist with VAT return preparation and submissionMaintain the fixed asset register and calculate depreciationEnsure compliance with financial regulations and ..... full job details .....
