Assistant Accountant

Assistant AccountantA well-established business is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a key role that will support the day-to-day running of the finance function to include month end and reporting.The successful candidate will enjoy a broad range of responsibilities and will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Supporting month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with cashflow forecasting and capital expenditure reconciliationsProducing regular internal financial reportsBank reconciliationsSupporting the external audit process and responding to audit queriesSupporting the wider Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projectsThe Successful Candidate Will Have:Strong month end experience Strong Excel for producing reports Good analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills and working effectively with all areas of the businessThis is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant who enjoys a varied role where they can add value. ..... full job details .....
